A 3D laser scan captures existing conditions of the built and natural environment in minute detail. The result is survey-quality data combined with 3D models giving accurate dimensional information.
In a 3D image the captured data can be seen as a model with a 360-degree field of view. Features can be seen from any angle. The data from the RL3D System can be migrated to CAD platforms like Autocad, Microstation etc. for further work. The scan not only captures every intricate aspect from a distance, but also help save hundreds of man-hours.
Mobile LiDAR data acquisition is a “next generation” 3D survey service for asset mapping and management for city and town infrastructure.
The Tridex Real Life 3D system is capable of acquiring 3D data at a fast pace, saving time and money. Imagine acquiring 3D survey quality data at a pace of 100 km per day. The system is an excellent tool for city mapping, highway infrastructure (road survey, etc.), asset mapping of large areas, and more.
Mobile LiDAR is quickly becoming the industry tool of choice.
Airborne LiDAR: The next generation TMAS system by Tridex
The Tridex Solutions operations team utilizes multiple collection platforms depending on the application and accuracy requirements. The Tridex Multi-Application System (TMAS) consists of airborne LiDAR system, multi hyper spectral sensors, large format camera, IMU and GPS for use in various projects. Highly qualified field personnel consisting of GIS technicians, surveyors and engineers operate the system.
Traditional construction methods rely on engineers collecting information from existing drawings and taking manual field measurements. This necessary and tedious step often results in projects coming in behind schedule and over budget because of inaccurate data. Today, as-built 3D laser scanning technology offers a cost-effective solution for both the 2D or 3D retrofit project.
Tridex is a leader in the acquisition, processing and delivery of geographic information from both land and air. Tridex is able to provide a wide range of mapping and GeoSpatial services, meeting international standards and specifications. Tridex is continually investing and researching new technologies to improve the project life cycle and develop new products and services to meet the challenges of a dynamically changing market. Tridex is also working diligently to meet the increasing requirement for organized geographic data suitable for analysis, decision-making and business intelligence.
Tridex Solutions redefines the world of desktop visualization, offering for the first time complete automation of the process of creating high-fidelity high-impact 2D, 3D and dynamic visualizations of data.
A traditional survey process requires a tremendous amount of rework and sending survey teams back into the field to capture additional data. This can cause months of project delays and substantial increase to project costs. The Tridex survey process saves time and money by eliminating the need to re-survey a project site. This is because ALL terrain data is captured during the original project scan.
Using thermal imaging in building diagnostics is an extremely effective way of quickly and precisely pinpointing any problems you may have in the fabric of your building. Many problems in buildings develop silently over time, and you only find out about them once it is too late and a large bill is coming your way.
Thermal imaging is a pro-active method of providing your building with a health check, showing you what the naked eye cannot see and ensuring that you are able to identify and prevent any problems before it is too late.
